Mikkel Rausner
Junior Consultant
Researcher and analyst with interests in how globalisation influences market behaviours nges on a cultural level. He has conducted fieldwork in Denmark and Shanghai, end investigated what characterises the future for Scandinavian businesses on the Chinese market. He is a former instructor in the course ‘Globalization, Organisation and the State’ at the University of Southern Denmark, wherefrom he also holds his BSc in Market and Management Anthropology. He is now studying an MA in Applied Cultural Analysis at the University of Copenhagen.
Adam Kuskner
Junior Consultant
Researcher and analyst with multiple areas of experience including communication, product development and consumer research. Adam has carried out projects in the fields of sustainable fashion, food industries, logistics & supply chain, urban planning and tourism. Before joining Maple he has been a project consultant at A.P. Moller-Maersk, and the art director & co-founder at Solosocks. He is currently studying an MA in Applied Cultural Analysis at University of Copenhagen

Katja Rose
Office manager
Katja is dedicated to making the office run smoothly and her colleagues thrive. With a background in communications, among others at PR agencies, she knows everything there is to know about creating meaningful content – and about facilitating daily life in a busy consultancy. Katja occasionally lends a hand on projects, transcribing interviews and reviewing texts. She holds an MSc in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
Anna Selfort Hartz
Consultant
Experienced researcher and analyst with a passion for service design. Has developed qualitative user insights and customer journeys in the fields of banking, pension and insurance as a co-developer of the newly established Customer Experience department at Alm. Brand. Anna holds a MSc in Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen, and has studied political anthropology and crisis in international affairs at University van Amsterdam.

Emil Thomassen / Agency Müller Thomassen
Art Director
Combines strong creative skills with solid business understanding. Has worked as Art Director at leading Danish advertising and communication agencies, such as Mensch, Grey KBH and Wibroe, Duckert & Partners. Has developed campaigns for companies such as TDC, Skoda, B&O and Liberal Alliance. Holds a bachelor’s degree in visual communication. Emil owns the design agency Hobby, which is a part of our external network.
Sofie Kampmark
Illustrator
Is specialised in turning insights and concepts into easily understandable illustrations. Sofie has worked for leading publishers and advertising agencies in Copenhagen, made illustrations for clients such as Novo Nordisk, DR and LEGO, as well as developed an award winning animation movie. Holds a BSc in Computer Graphic Arts and a degree from the animation school The Animation Workshop.
Catja Nilsson
Manager
Catja is an experienced project manager and has worked extensively with qualitative research, branding and strategy projects with both private and public organisations as well as foundations, and has been engaged in a wide range of topics such as retail, healthcare, energy, mobility and family relations. Has previously worked at the consultancies Copenhagen Living Lab and Empathic Design. International experience with project management and ethnographic fieldwork from China, UK, Scandinavia, Ghana and Brazil. Holds an MSc in Anthropology from University of Copenhagen.

Johanne Staugaard Johansen
Director
Combines ethnographic experience with a strategic mindset. Has led consumer insights development at BSkyB in London, worked at strategy consultancy Red Associates in Copenhagen, developed corporate strategy at Denmark’s largest media company Egmont and developed educational material on innovation subjects for top business school INSEAD. Holds a MSc in Ethnology/Sociology and an MBA from INSEAD.

Thea Refsgaard
Manager
Experienced researcher and project manager that has worked with both the public and private sector, as well as with funds. Has a special interest in fields which demand a particular caution, such as vulnerable groups and studies related to medical issues. Has consulting experience from the innovation consultancy IS IT A BIRD, and international fieldwork experience from Ghana, the Philippines, and the US. Holds a MSc in Anthropology from The University of Copenhagen.
